Best remedy to control acne and how can i get rid of acne scars

Acne spots and pimples don't just appear out of nowhere. They appear because of a problem below the surface of the skin. Over-the-counter products don't deal with this problem. Why go to the trouble of attempting to get rid of one pimple if more are on the way which the cream cannot prevent?
